Content Marketing For Dummies
1) Make content that inspires, educates or entertains
2) “What’s in it for me?”
Answer that question from the consumer’s point-of-view not your own point-of-view.
3) Doing corporate branding?
Good luck.
My advice: get a face for your brand and make it personal branding instead.
Still want to do corporate branding?
Do personal branding for everyone in your company.
Those will effectively create your corporate brand for you.
Don’t forget to feature or put a spotlight on them.
4) Storytelling.
If you can master the art of storytelling, you’re 80% done.
Not just with content marketing.
But with practically any sales, marketing or communication-related skill or job.
And you’ll be an interesting guy or lady to hang out with socially.
