Just finished watching The Queen’s Gambit.
Some personal takeaways:
- Success in any area starts with curiosity
- Mastery in any area starts with a burning desire
- Once the passion is gone, find a new one. It’s okay to change tracks in life.
- Life has its ups and downs. For some they’re higher and lower than for others. But regardless of the height or the depth, life goes on.
- If we desire progress in life, it’s up to us to take the step forward.
- We are stronger together.
- Great things are unlikely to be done alone.
- Help can come from unexpected places, if you let it.
- The more strongly you pursue your passion, the more likely others will want to support you. It’s a reaction to the positive energy you’re emitting.
- Ultimately, everything we do comes from within.
The series wasn’t my cup of tea initially.
It grew on me with every episode.
Probably because of the character development.
I like seeing people overcome their demons, discover their true selves and embrace themselves wholeheartedly.
When one discovers who they are, they shine the brightest.
