Happiness Starts With The People You Surround Yourself With | Daily Jim 10

Two pieces of content today made me think about positivity and surrounding yourself with the right people. Many people feel happy by surrounding themselves with people that make them comfortable even though this can mean surrounding yourself with people that are negative, pessimistic or simply don’t make the most of their lives.

As everybody’s situation and wishes in life are obviously unique there is no one-size-fits-all answer, so each person is responsible for determining whether the people they spend the most time with are indeed the right ones for them at any particular point in life.

If you want to get a lot done, surround yourself with people that get a lot done. You want positivity? Surround yourself with positivity. You want to chase a big dream or ambition? Surround yourself with people who do that. You want to have the courage to give up your comfortable but unsatisfying occupation to pursue what you really want to do? Again, surround yourself with people who do or have done just that.

Ask yourself what it is you want in life and find the people that have done this exact thing. With platforms like LinkedIn, it shouldn’t be too difficult to accomplish.
